Board of Directors

The Wisconsin Medical Alumni Association is governed by a board of directors that consists of a maximum of 25 medical alumni. There is representation from each of the four districts of Wisconsin, with up to three alumni representing each district, and up to four additional at-large members from the state. Each board member shall hold a three-year term, which can be renewed for another three-year term if they demonstrate effective leadership.

In addition to the maximum of 25 board members, the board will consist of up to 10 national members who live outside of Wisconsin and are appointed by the Board of Directors. Each national member shall hold a three-year term which can be renewed repeatedly if they demonstrate continued and active interest and effective leadership.

We encourage you to nominate yourself or an alumna/alumnus for service on the WMAA Board of Directors. Elections for vacancies are held each spring.

Board Advisory Council
